It was a few days before Async Art was supposed to launch. Async team was still putting the finishing touches on a DIY monitor display for our genesis pieces. They were repurposed computer monitor frames, superglued with matboards and antique art frames from Michael’s.
We hooked each one up to a tablet, and it updated in real-time to showcase the dynamic and on-chain Layer changes of Async artworks. One of the most common questions from the launch day attendees after “how does it work?” was “are you guys making dedicated NFT frames?”
That was only a year and a half ago.
Today, another one of our launch day visions came true.
Async Art announces our official partnership with NETGEAR’s Meural product line. Every single Meural owner now has the ability to showcase programmable artwork within their own home, bridging the NFT space to the physical world in a way that was never possible before.
How to Access:
2. A curated collection of over 200+ Async artworks is available to view with all Meural Smart Canvas platforms. Users can find all of them under the Async public playlist after you’ve created a Meural account.
3. After clicking on the artwork you want to display, select “Send to Canvas/Frame” on your connected Meural app.
4. Meural pulls our latest artwork once every top of the hour, so don’t be surprised if several Layer changes show up at once, or if there’s a slight wait.

Every couple of months or so we’ll be adding more Async artworks to the Meural playlist. To increase the chances of your piece being selected, we highly recommend minting artworks with 16:9 ratio, and creating the most compelling, meaningful changes within your artworks.
