New Canvas Template and Website Improvements

We've made several website improvements for our community the past couple of days. With the fast-growing amount of artwork in Gallery, there will be a couple of ways to search and uncover specific pieces:

Search Bar

A search bar is now available in the Gallery and will show results for your favorite artist, artwork title, or words within the art’s description.

Searching for "pak" will result in "The Tribe"

For example, inputting "generative" will get you various results but as long as the artist has mentioned the word "generative" in their description it will most likely show up.

Search results are only as accurate as an artist's descriptions

Notable Picks

As the name suggests, there is a new filter in town. The Async team took the time to highlight some of our most notable pieces in the Gallery. Whether it be highly aesthetic or a great use case of programmable art, the curated list can be easily toggled On/Off by clicking on "Notable Picks" on the left hand side.

Twitter Profiles

The most active social media platform for our artists and collectors alike, users can now add their Twitter profile link to be displayed via icon in addition to another website URL. (e.g. portfolio website, another social media URL, another cryptoart storefront, etc).

Click into your user profile on top right corner, and select “Profile” and “Edit Account” to add in your Twitter link.

Funds Withdrawal on Wallet page

Sample Wallet page, this is an example for Magic login users

With the introduction of Magic email-only login, we are preparing for the introduction of credit card payments in the future. One of the in-between steps is making a functional Wallet page that a user can easily deposit and withdraw their ETH. You can access this page by clicking on your user profile on the top right corner of the site, and finding the "Wallet" option in the drop down.

New Blank Template for Async Canvas

Last and certainly not least, we reveal a new template for Async Canvas. All artwork minted on Canvas enjoy a 10% commission fee - one of the lowest in the industry.

With this latest template that allows for up to 20 Layers in one artwork, artists can really unleash their creativity and create artwork with thousands of combinations!

Async artworks like "The Killers" with 10 Layers can now be made through Async Canvas

Head over to your user profile dropdown menu, if you have been white-listed for Async Art, "AsyncCanvas" should be a colorful, clickable option for you in your account drop down.

We look forward to hearing feedback on the latest improvements. Tag us on Twitter or join us in Discord to chime in!
