Big announcement folks. We’re moving to once a month auctions. You’ll notice that more and more artists are setting a min reserve and selling their art outside of an auction, and some pieces have already resold for impressive returns: TwistedVacancy and MLIBTY.

For this coming weekend, we’re auctioning Async artworks from 5 fabulous artists: Serste, Animattic, Jivinci, DinziBr, & Carlos Marcial.

Our artists are always seeking out of this world experiences. One of the best examples of cross- dimensional travel has to go to DinziBR with Async's first AR experience artwork: “Who’s in control?”

Don’t be fooled by the static image in our gallery, when you view the artwork with the Arize app on your phone, the entire scene comes alive in an AR virtual experience, handmade by the artist himself. Try it yourself!

Jivinci’s first Async piece “Girl with Ethering” is also another fantastical piece set in another world. A tribute to Vemeer’s Girl with Pearl Earring, Jivinci’s model seeks to escape her own virtual canvas via VR headset, and the owner can change many different elements in this decentralized version, including her head scarf, her background, and even her body.

The Layers of this piece already went to an enthusiastic collector. Jivinci will be auctioning the Master on Saturday.

Sometimes having an outer-worldly experience doesn’t require one to travel to another dimension. Sometimes it can be as simple as visiting an "Oracle" and having your fortune told. Check out our guide on how to read Sibyl’s Leaves and get your fortune told on Friday when /Serste auctions off this marvelous Async artwork.

We already covered the inspiration and significance of Carlos Marcial’s powerful piece “Memorial to the Victims of Fiat Money's Violence” earlier last week. His Async piece is just the right dimension for our Apple TV app, and here’s a short video of how the app updates Layers in real time on our smart TV.

Carlos has also been changing the texture of the Fiat gun this week, and sharing some history for each new currency shown: Mexican Peso, Venezuelan Bolivar, and Argentine Peso.

Our latest artist Animatttic debuts on Async with “jēˈämətrē” an abstract piece that uses “ghost” Layers to create dramatically different Master looks by rotating Layers as well as playing around with different colors. The hypnotic center pulls the viewer in, hinting that there is more to this dimension than it appears.

The artist will be selling all the Layers and Master over the course of three days. Check our auction schedule above for exact timing.

Last and certainly not least, we have /Lazarus2571 ' first Async piece “Submissive Decay”, in which a human-like character sits and awaits his fate in an alternate dimension. Almost all the Layers in the piece can have a state of decay, with the pillars, the road, and the door all warping if the new owner chooses to.

Read more about the piece from the artist.

The artist is not setting a deadline for this piece and would rather wait for the right bid. The Master was sold 24 hours after the piece was minted and now all the Layers are waiting to go to new homes.

Join us this Friday as we kick off this exciting weekend of Async auctions. We’ll be hosting it mostly on Discord as well as Twitter so follow us there to get real-time updates.
